Privacy Policy
Barometer & Altimeter · Last updated October 3, 2026
This policy describes how Innatur LLC handles information when you use Barometer & Altimeter. It covers the app, not the innaturllc.com website; the website has a separate privacy policy.
On this device
Saved places, unit choices, and theme stay in the app's local storage. Air pressure read from the iPhone barometer is used on the device to draw the dial. That sensor reading is not uploaded to Innatur LLC.
Location and weather
If you allow location, the app uses it to name the place and to read altitude so sea-level pressure can be corrected. When no place is saved, the app asks for location as it opens. It also asks when you tap My location. Latitude and longitude are sent to Innatur's weather service, which requests the forecast, temperature, humidity, and place elevation from Open-Meteo. If you search for a city or drop a map pin, that place's coordinates are sent the same way. The phone's barometer reading is not included in that request.
Account, analytics, and subscriptions
The app starts a guest session so the instrument can load. Sign in with Apple, if you choose it, links that guest through Supabase. Settings can delete the account and the saved data on this device. The app may send product analytics to Mixpanel, including that a reading was shown and that a place was saved. Subscriptions are billed by Apple and are canceled in Apple subscription settings, not by deleting the account. Superwall presents the subscription screen.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app's data practices change. The date above shows when this page was last updated.
